Awards and Recognition

The Greater Calgary Chapter of Meeting Professionals International recognizes members through the annual presentation of the Chinook Awards. These awards are to recognize outstanding innovation, involvement, mentoring, and leadership potential at the chapter level. The MPI Rise Awards (Recognizing Industry Success and Excellence) are also presented on an international level recognizing the organization's mission to build a global community based on knowledge, relationships and marketplace.

Each Canadian Chapter also recognizes people or organizations outside the direct industry which have supported the development of meetings and conventions or the development of policy and programs impacting the industry. This Influence Award is presented at the National Meeting Industry Day.
